Rethink? - Cuban Rum
The product was to be associated with our paper atelier. Because of this, I looked into the properties of paper to find a special use.
In the project, we were told to choose a country and develop an theme and brand around our product. The country of choice was Cuba and I wanted to focus on one of its largest exports; Rum.
The unique selling point of the product was that, using graphic elements depicting flavours, they could be torn off and added into the rum to customise the flavour.
Intended as a showpiece, the packaging folds out, revealing their choice, with the bottle lit up by the base for extra effect.
There was a short timeframe for this project so the physical outcome was not as refined as I’d hoped.
